Bible 300 Course Overview
Bible 300 begins a developmental and in-depth academic study of the teachings of the Old and New Testaments. It focuses on Christian living, the lives of Jesus and Joseph, Bible study methods, Bible archaeology, friendship, and Christian service. These areas target five content strands: biblical literature, biblical background, Christian growth, Christian evidences, and friendship (a special topic).
Objectives • Identify how a Christian lives for God. • Provide an overview of the life of Jesus. • Provide an overview of the life of Joseph. • Explain how a Christian can use the Bible. • Discuss how God takes care of His children. • Defend the Bible as the Word of God. • Understand the nature and role of archaeology as they relate to the Bible. • Explain the need and role of biblical friendships. • Discuss how Christians help other people.
